Footprints does not charge anything to use the micro-donations technology we've developed because we wish to encourage as many businesses as possible to add it.
There are internal costs in time for design and development work but there are minimal with the API and even less with the Salesforce Demandware plugin.
Once operational on your Brand, there are more opportunities than costs:
- a specific 'thank you' email to customers who give.
- campaign costs such as dollar-matching your customers micro-donations.
- project update email campaigns
- great PR stories about your Brand
Of course, you don't have to do any of these, but how far you choose to harness the passion of your customers is up to you.
